What’s there in this film?.

Sadak 2 (2020) is a sequel to the film Sadak (1991), for Mahesh Bhatt, it is the first film in his direction after twenty years.
The one-line story heroine is a social activist, who fight against fake preachers for which those preachers send men to kill her, after that how she escaped from this, it’s a full story.
The storytelling is a non linear one, that revolves around the flashback love story of Sanjay Dutt and present drama between the Alia Bhatt’s fight against fake gurus.
The nicest of this film is Music, I think it is the only satisfying factor compare to this shit story, you will also feel somewhat satisfaction from music after watching the whole movie but that is also wasted by their poor portraying of their love scenes.
The best of this film is Jishu Sengupta, he did a good villainism as always, except him, all of them are just wasted by the poor storytellings.
There is also a few twists in between the story but most of them guessable.
The only value for watching the whole film is Sanjay Dutt’s fight scenes, after a long day watching the Sanjay Dutt in fight scenes added more promising while watching the story, though his character is ruined by his ghost love scenes, these fight scenes of Sanjay Dutt brought a little satisfaction to watch the film.
What’s not there in this film?.

The whole story is not much enough for the sequel it is a uncooked one with so much flaws in characterisations and potrayings.
I think the most unsatisfying factor of this film is Sanjay Dutt’s characterisation, he just wanders around like a madman through the film, I know his characterisation is like that, but this much made the audience laugh instead of sympathising about that character.
Another one is their love potraying scenes between the heroine and the hero because what they saying about the love between the hero and the heroine is not so digestible and convincing to watch.
They also just wasted Gulshan Grover by making fun of his role, the acting of the cast is also not much impressive compare to this Sadak 2 film Aditya Roy Kapoor did a decent job in Malang.
Star performance:

It fits only to Sanjay Dutt.
Because of his average performance.

The heroine is a social activist who fights against fake preachers. they also brainwash the hero and send him to kill the heroine like as if in love with her.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt introduces himself as a car driver to the heroine.suffering from the loss of his wife who died in a road accident, he thinks heroine as his daughter.
Then the story is how the Sanjay Dutt saved the hero and heroine from that fake preachers.

There is nothing good to say about this film except Sanjay Dutt’s few scenes, watch some other good films with good satisfying storytelling.
