What’s there in this film?.
Pay Dirt (2020),It is a another disaster by Christian Sesma, I think he tried to make a good crime thriller film with a mindblowing twist at the climax, but the outcome is below average crime thriller with a boring screenplay like touching the nose around the head.
The one-line story is, hero and his crew robbed the money worth of 30 million dollars from villain a few years ago, so villain and his daughters try to re-get that money from the hero.
Val Kilmer played a limited role as Sheriff Tucker, they just wasted him, there is no that much importance for his role like we think by seeing the poster.
Luke Goss, carried this movie on his shoulder as much as he can, but that is also wasted by their poor effects.
By seeing the good intro scenes,I thought it would be a good watch, but after taking off for few minutes you won’t understand like where the film goes.
The only engaging thing of this film is few nudity scenes between the flow of movie, but that is also not much enough to hold the audience.
What’s not there in this film?.
The main terrible thing about this film is absurd special effects, for instance, they have used some red colour sprays for gunshots, you will definitely laugh not for their poor funny bits but for their low budget special effects
Another worst of this film is not sinking background score, they just overused that background score in the starting, some scenes are appeared like a YouTube video with not sinking bgm.
Good characterisation like Badass, Babe, Brit, Brain, but there is no that much opportunity to implement their characters.
The story is also not much new, they just tinted with some low-cost paints.
It fits Like Goss.
Because he only uplifted this story to somewhat.
The story is a hero and his friends robbed the money from their boss, so there is a cat and mouse drama between the hero and that villain gang for a few years.
But they can’t catch the hero and his crew.in between these scenes one of the hero’s friend also had an affair with the villain’s daughter, so villain wants to kill hero also for this.
After that, whether the villain got his money from a hero or not and how the hero escaped, this is the storyline of this film.
Not an extraordinary one, it’s just below average crime thriller, watch this only if you have time to spare.
