What’s there in this film?.
Silence (2020), a psycho-thriller film starring Anushka and Madhavan together after a long time, this is why the anticipation of the film is high, ok, let’s see what’s in the movie.
The one-line story is, the hero and heroine went to the haunted villa to paint an old portrait, but there the hero is mysteriously killed and only the heroine escapes from there with bloody wounds. Will the police then find out who killed the hero?is a full story.
The only satisfying thing about the whole movie is the cinematography even though the movie is full of famous faces, that’s my thought. The cinematography was pleasing to the eye and mainly the song scenes were fantastic.
The first 15 minutes of the film went on with good interesting horror scenes and mysteries, when I saw it I thought it was a horror film, but the predictable story events that followed made the film tasteless.
Anushka as Sakshi a dumb girl who only understands lip-reading added little bit spice to the story to make it interesting but they also wasted that by their poor execution.
Madhavan as Antony seems like a chocolate boy at first, then there is his psycho play. Shalini Pandey as Sonali okayish performance and cringe characterisation.
After cinematography what I liked most in this film is, it’s music and songs, though it is an average one, this is the only convincing thing after watching the whole movie.
What’s not there in this film?.
The main antagonistic about this film is, it’s the screenplay, they just wasted my expectation about Anushka Shetty and Madhavan combination by making this predictable boring old type psycho-thriller flick.
Next up is Anjali, she just ruined the whole movie from the starting by her poor cringe narration and bad acting. She seemed inappropriate for that detective characterisation that’s my impression about her performance. while watching her intro scenes, to me it seemed like watching a Satya Ac offer ad.you will also notice this for sure.
The whole film is 2hrs 6mins but after 15mins in the starting you can guess the whole movie inch by inch, this is the sad reality about this film for those who watched this film.
They also wasted Madhavan and Anushka performance by their poor execution, I don’t know why Anushka Shetty chose this film.
Another major negative of this film is their non-sinking dubbing works, mainly that M.S.Bhaskar’s voice doesn’t fit perfectly to the guy at the beginning. too worst that’s my opinion about their dubbing works.
The writer also added some undigestable stuff while in the good flow of investigation, I won’t tell that scenes watch this on the movie, mainly that death scene of Tom character.
It fits Anushka Shetty.
Because of her mediocre performance.
In the starting, the whole story starts with the detective character point of view.
the hero and heroine went to the haunted villa to paint an old portrait, but there the hero is mysteriously killed and only the heroine escapes from there with bloody wounds.
But the police looked at the heroine with a little suspicion because who will believe that the ghost killed the hero.
Will the police then find out who killed the hero?is a full story.
Spoiler: the real killer is the heroine because the hero was a psycho killer who kills women those who cheats their husbands or lover because his wife also cheated him.
In this film heroine kills hero because he killed her sister like friend Sonali by mistake, he thought she is also a cheater.
Casting is great, full of famous faces but they wasted them by their poor execution. not much impressive one like I expected.watch this on your own wish if you’re interested in waste time.
