What's there in this film?.

The Haunting of Margam Castle (2020), we can know from its title and poster, that it was adapted from true incidents.

The one-line story is, the heroine and her crew are sent by their company to investigate an abandoned ghost bungalow, but they realize there are some strange incidents going on, and then the whole story is how they escaped from there.

The main thing about this film is director Andrew Jones, though this the first film I saw in his direction, after seeing his filmographies in IMDB, it seems that he also likes horror films like me.

The whole story was shot at Margam Castle as the film was shot with real events in mind, although the film is set in the same palace throughout, few scenes were little scary, that's what liked about this film.

Next up is background score, seems like an old one that is used for adventures movies but for this, it is a little bit worked out that's my thought.

What's not there in this film?.

The whole story is more usual and old one than we expect, the truth is we can predict the whole story from starting, like inch by inch

There are so many regular horror scenes that we have seen countless times in recent and old movies, so there are no that much horror scenes to terrify you, that's the main negative or drawback of this film.

The acting of the actors was not very interesting to catch us, they just reduced the quality of the film by their below-average performance.

There is also one twist in the end for the perfect mind-blowing end by the director Andrew Jones, but instead of feeling mind-blowing I felt wasted, you will also feel the same, this is for sure, watch that on the movie.

Their storytelling and screenplay also too worst to engage us, you will definitely sleep if you are going to watch this The Haunting of Margam Castle because of their tiresome storytelling and boring screenplay.

Their cinematography and visual effects of that ghost coming scenes also not much enough to make us watch this film, that's my review of this film.

Star performance:

It fits no one in the above cast.

Maybe it fits me for watching this film.

Storyline:

The story is more usual, but I tell.

The heroine and her team hear about the haunting of Margam palace while looking for a good research project to increase their company fundings from investors.

the heroine and her crew are sent by their company to investigate that an abandoned haunted palace where they met one guy named Hugh and one woman who can communicate with the world of the spirit by mentally, they just came to help the heroine's team.

but they realize there are some strange incidents going on that palace, so they tried to escape from that palace, then the story is whether they escaped or not from that Margam castle.

Verdict:

A very typical boring story without proper execution, this is my impression of this film.  Only watch this film if you are a brainless guy like me who wastes precious time.
